Download ArtCraft: official options

A search for ArtCraft downloads can lead to two different tools: the AI image and video studio, or the launcher for desktop Craft apps. Choose the tool for your task first, then choose its operating-system package.

The useful starting point

Use the studio for generative composition. Use the Craft App Launcher to install apps such as PhotoCraft and PdfCraft. Downloading the launcher does not install the AI studio.

Official download pages and GitHub releases checked October 11, 2026. We tested only the separate FilmCraft CLI described in its review; this guide does not certify the other installers.

Choose the right download

The main ArtCraft download page describes a desktop AI studio with canvas editing and 3D scene composition. The Craft App Launcher repository describes a separate installer and updater for the native app suite. Their names are similar; their jobs and release numbers differ.

ArtCraft studio: Windows, macOS and web

At this check, the official studio page lists Windows 10 64-bit or newer and macOS 12 or newer, recommends 8 GB of RAM, and asks for 2 GB of storage. It also links to the browser app. It does not offer a Linux installer on that page.

The studio repository documents building from source, including Linux. That is a developer path, not the same as a supported ready-made installer. If you only need a Linux photo editor, follow PhotoCraft’s own release page instead of selecting a Windows studio package.

The studio’s quick start includes signing in. Its pricing page describes generation credits and plans. Free software downloads do not establish that every model invocation or hosted generation is free; inspect the current plan and model before starting a paid operation.

Launcher: select your operating system and CPU

The launcher’s release page supplies packages for different systems. On Windows, distinguish x64, ARM64 and x86. On macOS, read the universal-package notes. On Linux, choose the format your distribution supports rather than treating AppImage, Flatpak, DEB and RPM as interchangeable.

A source archive is for building the application. A CLI archive is for command-line work. Neither should be mistaken for the normal graphical installer. The launcher README explains how it finds existing apps, checks release checksums and offers updates; keep launcher and editor versions in separate notes.

A short installation checklist

Read the notes for the exact release you select. If a product page and GitHub show different versions, use the release-specific asset list and record what you actually downloaded. Do not silently substitute a mirror or assume an older direct link is the newest build.

  • Confirm the product page links to a storytold repository before downloading.
  • Match the package to your operating system and processor architecture.
  • Compare the file against the release’s SHA256SUMS.txt when supplied.
  • Follow the operating system’s normal installation and security prompts.
  • Open a copied sample first; retain original documents and projects.

If you only wanted PhotoCraft

PhotoCraft has its own download guide on this site. It focuses on the image editor and its official releases. For PDF documents or page layout, use the specific product guides below rather than downloading a similarly named tool and hoping it opens your files.
